Laptop Pickup for 1:1 Digital Learning
The Districtwide Virtual Online Learning start date is August 13th. We are working on a plan to get a laptop to those students that DID NOT pick up a laptop on Tuesday, July 28th. We will communicate that plan once it has been fully developed. Right now, we are aiming for August 10th.
Please be sure to have your child's Student ID# and your photo ID. You will pick up a laptop for each child grades 6th-8th. If you borrowed a laptop in the Spring you must bring the laptop AND charger with you to return it before picking up the new laptop(s). ***NOTE: Elementary School and High School laptops will be picked from their campus.***

FMS 6th Grade Back to School Night Presentation
One of the staples of the Faubion orientation process is the Back to School Meeting where we usually walk parents through the process of being a middle school parent. Unfortunately, we are not able to do that meeting this year due to the pandemic, but we encourage you to please review the presentation and email me if you have any questions. Please download the presentation here.
Faubion Middle School is proud to announce that we have earned our High Reliability School Level 2 Certification. The HRS framework, based on 40 years of educational research, defines five progressive levels of performance that a school must master to become a high reliability school—where all students learn the content and skills they need for success in college, careers, and beyond. The HRS framework does not add any new initiatives or replace many of the effective practices that already make Faubion a great school. Instead, this framework shows how best practices work together and provides indicators to empower districts and schools to measure their progress on attaining five increasing levels of reliability. There are five levels of HRS Certification:
Level 1 – Safe and Collaborative Culture
Level 2 – Effective Teaching in Every Classroom
Level 3 – Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum
Level 4 – Standards-Referenced Reporting
Level 5 – Competency-Based Education
Using the framework and indicators, districts and schools can drive permanent, positive, and significant impacts on student achievement by synthesizing multiple complex initiatives into one harmonious system.
