Faubion Middle School Wins UIL Championship AGAIN!
For the sixth year in a row, Faubion Middle School has won the UIL Academic Competition Championship! FMS once again swept the competition winning 7th grade, 8th grade and OVERALL CHAMPION. These awards are the direct reflection on the hard work our students and coaches put into competing for such a prestigious honor.
It cannot go without being said that our parents also play a role in this honor! Thank you for allowing your child to stay after school for so many days and evenings to work with their coaches. Without you, this six-year winning streak would not be possible. Go Lions! #DidSomeoneSaySevenPeat?
Mrs. Brittany Neal Named 2018 FMS Teacher of the Year
The teachers have voted and have named 8th Grade Science Teacher and Team Lead the 2018 FMS Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Neal is incredibly humbled by this great honor. Having your peers vote you as the Teacher of the Year is one of the highest forms of praise. In addition to being 8th grade Science Team Lead, Mrs. Neal also serves as the Head Cheer Coach and Co-Sponsor of the Fellowship of Christian Students where the group has amassed a large following since its inception a few years ago. Our parents may recognize Mrs. Neal as the master of ceremonies for all of our pep rallies! Her school spirit and dedication to the Faubion Family is undeniable.
Please join us in congratulating Mrs. Brittany Neal, the 2018 Faubion Middle School Teacher of the Year! You can send Mrs. Neal at note of congratulations at BNeal@mckinneyisd.net.
